OpenBooks (Accountant Edition), are celebrating today after
winning ‘Software Package of the Year’ at the British Accountancy
Awards last night.
FreeAgent scooped the award from six other competitors
shortlisted in the category including rivals Xero and Mamut.
The judging panel commented "This is a comprehensive financial
package complemented by the latest cloud technology. FreeAgent’s
product shows continuing and adventurous innovation combined with a
strong focus on supporting their customers."
FreeAgent also won ‘Vendor of the Year Award’ at the Software
Satisfaction Awards in October. In total this is now the fourth
award that FreeAgent has won over the last six months being a
significant reinforcement of the product quality and commitment to
the sector. IRIS OpenBooks is the accountant edition of FreeAgent
which facilitates real time collaboration between the accountant
and their client; a valuable proposition for accountants to provide
real time access, advice and guidance to their small business
clients without the need to send and receive files.
