IRIS Accountancy Solutions CEO leads 18 staff on a trek to the peak
of Kilimanjaro to raise money for IRIS' official charity
partner.

2012: Phill Robinson will lead a group of 18 IRIS
employees, on the 10 day long trip to the peak of Kilimanjaro from
the 27th January to the 5th February, 2012. Kilimanjaro is
the highest freestanding mountain in the world representing a
significant personal challenge to those that participate.
Kilimanjaro is also the highest mountain on the African
continent at 5,896m. Its snow-capped summit raises high above the
dusty plains and huge permanent glaciers flow down from the
summit.
The trek takes the Machame Route which provides gradual
acclimatisation and an excellent chance of reaching the summit,
Uhurh Peak. This is a challenging trek, at altitude, climbing
one of the most impressive and well-known mountains in the
world.

£25,000 and still climbing...
Throughout 2011 the
IRIS employees have worked together to raise £25,000 for Macmillan
through a wide variety of fundraising events. IRIS agreed to
match our efforts pound for pound.
